Chasing Dreams - How we got here.

Every Great Brand Has a Great Story, Here is ours.

Sparkle Ridge Brand Story told by Owner Anita Sowle

Introduction:

I’m Anita, Owner of Sparkle Ridge. Thank you for your time to learn more about who I am, and how my small family business called Sparkle Ridge came to be.

The first thing you should know is that I’m a real Dreamer who’s always marched to the beat of my own drum - my husband Riley lovingly tells me that I’m “Special.

We’ve been chasing our dreams together and overcoming life’s challenges since the moment we first met.

I was that little girl, and now a mother raising two beautiful daughters of my own.
— Anita S.

We have quite the story about how we continue to create our best life together while raising two daughter’s of our own.

We are a tight-knit family and we are doing our best to be an inspiration and good role-models to our little ones every step of the way.

If you have a story worth telling, then tell it.
— Riley

You wouldn’t believe what we went through to get here.

I Started Early

My Story Starts in 1982. I was Born in rural Minnesota and grew up on a Dairy Farm with my Horses. This is me with my first horse pee-wee.

Rodeo Tales, Horse Shows, Memories

Humble

Beginning

“The pure love of my horse, riding and competing had to be enough forme during those years”

My passion for these majestic creatures shaped who I am today, and I cannot imagine my life without horses.

I’m so thankful that my daughters will have the same opportunities as I did growing up with these animals on the farm.

Apparel Design Degree

Sad to leave my horses behind, the big city and the rest of my life was ahead.

I went off to Italy to study Coture Fashion to finish my collegiate experience.

This time period was instrumental in me discovering my additional passion for fashion, and newly developed skills of apparel production and design.

Apparel Production and Management

Eager to begin the next chapter of my life, and looking for a way to apply myself intrests and abilities, I quickly found myself managing production at multiple apparel companies.

Here I learned the important details of apparel production, working with different materials and if learned all about working with BLING.

Eventually, I decided to take the leap into Entrepreneurship for myself.

My First Apparel Business - Bikinis

In 2008, Opportunity knocked, I answered. Working in a gym I met numerous women who were in need of rhinestone bikinis for fitness competitions.

The skills I had acquired were just what I needed to elevate myself above other recreational suit makers.
